Propulsion Engineer Intern - Summer 2026 Build an Aviation Career You're Proud Of! StandardAero is seeking motivated, eager, and innovative students looking to join our maintenance teams for the 2026 summer term. As an intern at StandardAero, you will gain hands-on industry experience supporting our Engine Maintenance Department this summer. You'll gain hands-on experience with mechanical systems, preventative maintenance, and continuous improvement projects in a fast-paced aerospace environment. What you'll do: Partner with an existing Engineering Team to support the turbofan maintenance and overhaul operations in Augusta, GA. Students will work with experienced Propulsion Engineers on the various projects that include repair, troubleshooting, reporting and documentation processes.

Support Propulsion Engineers with troubleshooting and equipment reliability projects. Assist in engineering projects, data collection, and process improvement. Help update technical documentation, drawings, and maintenance procedures. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance safety and efficiency.
Position Requirements:
Must be currently enrolled in an Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or relevant engineering bachelor's program. Proficient with Excel, AutoCAD, and SolidWorks. Available to work full-time on-site in Augusta, GA for 10-12 weeks. A prospective student must submit to FAA and TSA screening and security requirements. Must be authorized to work in the U.S Must have possess a high school diploma or GED.
Preferred Characteristics:
Excellent communication skills Strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
