Debugging Full Job Description Overview:
We are seeking a full-time Industrial Engineer 1 at Garmin's U.S. headquarters in the Greater Kansas City area. In this role, you will be responsible for performing basic statistical analysis to estimate departmental needs and/or product/process performance.
Responsibilities:
Essential Functions Review and analyze processes, capture as-is process flows and highlight inefficiencies Set up and capture time study elements Perform basic statistical analysis and cost estimates Identify and resolve defects of basic scope using proper engineering tools and techniques Apply basic standards and procedures to accomplish tasks using appropriate engineering tools to document and implement work in an organized manner May be responsible for planning own technical work
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Process Engineering, or related engineering field OR an equivalent combination of education and experience Excellent academics (cumulative GPA greater than or equal to 3.0 as a general rule) Demonstrated capability for applying industry standards and procedures to develop, implement, and document operational processes Ability to learn how to use and apply engineering tools Demonstrated capability to perform basic troubleshooting & debugging Demonstrated understanding of lean tools and methods Desired Qualifications Outstanding academics (cumulative GPA greater than or equal to 3.5) Garmin International is an equal opportunity employer.
