SCI Desired Functions:
E-2D Flight Test Engineer, Journey level. This position is located in the Mission Systems Test and Evaluation Department (MSTED) within Naval Test Wing Atlantic (NTWL). The department provides the resources for full life cycle test and evaluation of integrated mission and avionics, sensors, electronic warfare, cyber threats, crew systems and system of systems. The position provides stakeholder recommendations based on platform level integrated functionality and performance testing of embedded/integrated avionics systems and sub-systems, platform and system of system level tactical and control software, interfaces and interoperability of these integrated mission and avionics with affiliated ships, aircraft, mission support devices, and other weapon and combat systems. The incumbent of this position leads and manages the T&E efforts and is responsible for identification of critical program test elements; translating engineering test requirements into test plans; conduct of tests; engineering analysis of test data; and reporting of test results in the area of integrated mission and avionics. The incumbent of this position interfaces across the core engineering competencies associated with Warfare Analysis and System-of-Systems Engineering and the Digital, Analytics, Infrastructure and Technology Advancement group to formulate a Capability Based
LVC RDT&E
strategy.
Education:
A Bachelor's degree in an Engineering or related technical field is required.

Salary:
The projected salary range for this position is $130,000-$160,000; however, this is not a guarantee of salary. Salary will be set based on education, experience and contractual requirements.
