Job Description

We are seeking a hands-on, floor-focused Manufacturing Engineer to bridge the gap between engineering and production. In this role, you won't just sit behind a desk—you will actively troubleshoot on the shop floor, mentor team members on advanced equipment, and optimize processes to turn multi-operation jobs into efficient, single-operation runs.
Key Responsibilities Shop Floor Troubleshooting:
Actively support the production floor by diagnosing and resolving complex machining, tooling, and programming issues.
Process Optimization:
Reduce cycle times and costs by identifying opportunities to consolidate multi-operation processes into single-operation runs.
Technical Mentorship:
Train and onboard team members in the Multi-Axis and Lynx areas (Swiss experience is a major plus).
Laser Marker Champion:
Take full ownership of the Laser Marking equipment, setting up processes and training staff.
CNC Programming & CAD:
Create and maintain robust CNC programs (GibbsCAM) and CAD models; manage tool lists and process documentation.
Cross-Functional Support:
Participate in APQP and contract reviews, provide run times to assist sales with quoting, and ensure smooth technical communication across all shifts.
Qualifications Experience:
5+ years in a precision CNC Aerospace machining manufacturing environment.
Technical Skills:
Strong background in Multi-Axis and Lynx setups; Swiss machining experience is highly desired.
Software:
Proficient in GibbsCAM (Virtual Gibbs) , CAD/CAM systems, and ERP- Epicor software.
Industry Standards:
Experience in an AS9100 Aerospace or highly regulated manufacturing environment is preferred.
Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$75,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
