You'll work side-by-side with the best aviation planners, engineers, and construction managers in the business - preparing solutions for our military clients around the world. Principal Duties and Responsibilities (under the direction of senior staff) Participate in planning-level aviation assignments Perform civil engineering design including computer modeling, calculations, and reporting Prepare specifications and perform plan set production for airfield projects - Coordinate and collaborate with other aviation design professionals and disciplines as part of a cohesive design team Perform bid-phase and construction-phase services such as answering requests for information, preparing design clarifications, reviewing shop drawings, and submittals Attend site visits to perform engineering services to include construction quality, acceptance testing and construction management activities Attend and participate in design team and client meetings Attend industry-level training and collaboration events '- Bachelor's degree in Civil engineering Strong analytical, conceptual, communication and organizational skills Computer-Aided Drafting and Engineering (CAD/CAE) knowledge Ideally, you'll also have: Registered Engineer-in-Training (or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire) A passion for aviation Previous intern or co-op experience Jacobs is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
