is seeking a Journeyman Marine Propulsion Engineer with 3 years of experience and BS in Engineer. This fully remote position provides comprehensive lifecycle engineering support to the USCG Surface Forces Logistics Center. Be part of a team that focuses on upgrading and sustaining cutters and boats to ensure continued operational effectiveness, safety, and compliance with current and future mission requirements. Responsibilities As a Journeyman Marine Propulsion Engineer you will have the opportunity to do the following: Assist in design, development, and evaluation of the operation of marine vessels, ship machinery, and related equipment, such as propulsion systems & power generation systems. Support the US Coast Guard reviewing third party design modifications and improvements to mechanical systems and components. Perform design reviews, evaluating constructability, helping resolve technical issues, and managing information generated through the design and construction phases. Conduct analyses of propulsion systems and types, lead development of technical data packages and reviews. Conduct trade studies regarding ship configuration. Conduct marine engineering analysis. Create graphical representations of structures and systems. Inspect equipment or systems. Assist in research of advanced engineering designs or applications. Prepare technical reports for internal use. #LI-EW1 Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Ability to obtain a secret clearance At least 3+ years of experience in marine specific fields (i.e. propulsion systems, power-generation systems, fluids and hydraulics) Experience with GE LM2500 or MTU Engines/Generators Wage Transparency Statement

is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is USD $90,000.00/Yr. - USD $100,000/Yr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
