3050 Winchester Road, Memphis TN 38118, United States Apply Share Job Description Design, specify and/or develop technical specifications for configuration, repair, operation and maintenance of airplanes, engines and components. Performs other duties as assigned. Essential Functions Troubleshooting assistance, evaluating airworthiness directives, preparing specifications and manuals, and providing engineering consultation and reports. Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Education Bachelor's degree in engineering. Related experience may offset degree requirements and related education/degree may offset experience requirements. Minimum Experience Five (5) years' related aircraft engineering experience. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong analytical, communication and technical writing skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

This posting is for a position within the Powerplant Engineering team. Prior engineering experience with commercial high-bypass turbo-fan engines is highly preferred. A calculus-based Bachelor of Science in Engineering (or equivalent) is required. Mechanical, Aerospace, or Materials Engineering is preferred. • Strong technical writing and communication skills are preferred
