Job Description
Minimum Requirements:
Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or related field 4 years of relative engineering or research experience Strong Embedded firmware skills and experience Proficiency in MATLAB or Python with signal processing applications Programming knowledge in C/C++ (or other systems programming languages) Strong Assembly programming skills U.S. citizenship, as U.S. citizens are only eligible for a security clearance.Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with digital signal processing (DSP) software, algorithm, and signal chain development in the Aerospace & Defense (A&D) sector. PhD. Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or related field Knowledge of software engineering processes and the full software development lifecycle Experience with advanced signal processing algorithms, including filter design, FFTs, FIRs, beamforming, linear algebra, 3D mesh processing, voxel processing, and computer vision algorithms. Experience with sensor inputs such as Radar, LiDAR, CMOS sensors, Software Defined Radio (SDR), and Cameras. Proven ability to optimize code on DSPs (C66x, C7x) with in-depth understanding of their architecture. Experience optimizing data movement within multi-level memory systems (Level 2, Level 3, and Level 4) and inter processor communication. Knowledge of Machine Learning algorithms and optimization techniques. Familiarity with Large Language Models (LLMs), such as Claude, for code generation. Experience with open-source graph compilers like TVM or ExecuTorch. Comfort working with mathematical formulas and derivations. Ability to quickly learn new systems and processes. Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Strong teamwork and collaboration skills. Self-motivated with a results-oriented approach. Solid foundation in digital signal processing, estimation and detection theory, probability/statistics, and linear algebra. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Effective time management skills to ensure on-time project delivery.
