This role focuses on product and process quality, continuous improvement, corrective actions, and compliance to applicable aerospace, regulatory, and customer standards. Key Responsibilities Support and maintain compliance with AS9100 and internal quality management system procedures Develop, review, and maintain quality documentation including control plans, inspection plans, work instructions, and procedures Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) using structured problem-solving tools (8D, 5-Why, Fishbone) Support internal, customer, and third-party audits, including preparation and follow-up actions Review and approve First Article Inspection (FAI) packages per AS9102 Oversee incoming, in-process, and final inspection activities for electrical wiring harnesses Interface with production, engineering, supply chain, and customers to resolve quality issues Support supplier quality activities including supplier corrective actions and performance monitoring Analyze quality metrics, nonconformance trends, and drive continuous improvement initiatives Ensure compliance with customer specifications, drawings, process requirements, and regulatory standards Support MRB activities and disposition of nonconforming material Assist in training production personnel on quality requirements and procedures Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in engineering, Quality, Industrial Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience) Minimum of 3 years of Quality Engineering experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment Working knowledge of AS9100 standards and aerospace quality requirements Experience with electrical wiring harnesses, cable assemblies, or electro-mechanical assemblies preferred Familiarity with AS9102 First Article Inspections Experience using root cause analysis and corrective action methodologies Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and specifications Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office and quality management systems Preferred Qualifications Experience with FAA, military, or defense aerospace programs Knowledge of IPC/WHMA-A-620 or similar wiring harness standards Lean, Six Sigma, or Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) credentials Experience working directly with aerospace customers and regulatory agencies Physical & Work Environment Manufacturing environment with exposure to production floor activities. Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods. Ability to occasionally lift up to 35 lbs. PM19
