8 Active Secret Clearance Position Overview We are seeking experienced Structural Analysis Engineers to support the design and analysis of primary and secondary airframe structures . This role focuses on stress analysis, finite element modeling (FEM/FEA), and structural validation for advanced aerospace platforms. You will play a critical role in ensuring structural integrity, safety, and performance across new designs and design modifications. Key Responsibilities
  • Structural & Stress Analysis Perform stress analysis on primary and secondary airframe structures Support new design development and update existing analyses for design changes Conduct MRB (Material Review Board) stress analysis for metallic and composite structures
FEA / FEM
Modeling Develop and analyze models using NASTRAN and PATRAN Utilize pre
  • and post-processing tools such as SLIM and TMP Vision Perform detailed finite element analysis (FEA) to validate structural performance Design Interpretation & Support Interpret engineering drawings, 3D models, and installation layouts Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to ensure structural requirements are met Support airframe layout and sizing activities Analytical Methods Conduct hand calculations and Excel-based structural analysis Validate FEA results with classical engineering methods Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with design, manufacturing, and quality teams Support troubleshooting and resolution of structural issues Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering , or related field 14+ years (MS) or 16+ years (BS) of relevant structural analysis experience 10+ years of experience in: Airframe primary structure layout and sizing Aerospace structural analysis (hand calculations + Excel-based) 5+ years of recent experience with
CATIA V5
Strong experience with:
NASTRAN / PATRAN
(FEA tools) Ability to interpret: Engineering drawings, assemblies, and installation models Preferred Qualifications Experience with: SLIM (pre-processing) TMP Vision (post-processing) IDAT and 3DEXPERIENCE (3DX) Familiarity with UNIX/Linux environments Experience with metallic and composite airframe structures Background in MRB stress analysis Work Environment Engineering office and collaborative team setting High-impact aerospace development programs Cross-functional interaction with design and manufacturing teams Why Apply?
