GNC Engineer - Controls Job Description This role focuses on designing, analyzing, and implementing guidance, navigation, and control (GNC) algorithms for aerospace vehicles. You will develop advanced control laws, build high-fidelity models, and translate GNC algorithms into flight-ready software. The position requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure robust, reliable, and high-performance flight control systems for complex aerospace missions. I'm working on several exciting Guidance, Navigation & Control (GNC) roles supporting advanced flight vehicle development programs. These teams are focused on pushing through detailed design, validation/verification, and ultimately launch. We're hiring across a few areas:
Navigation:
Sensor modeling, Kalman filtering, and estimation (e.g., star trackers, LiDAR, cameras)
Controls:
Control law development, actuator systems (thrusters, reaction wheels, CMGs), and flexible dynamics Across all roles, they're looking for strong C++ skills and experience working with flight vehicles or similar systems. •If you are interested in this role and cannot relocate, we are considering remote individuals!• Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Houston, TX.
