Description:
You will be the Airworthiness Engineer Sr for the Fighter Airworthiness Team which is responsible for delivering safe, mission‑critical aircraft solutions. What You Will Be Doing As the Airworthiness Engineer Sr you will be responsible for guiding airworthiness projects from concept through sustainment, ensuring compliance and optimal performance.
Your responsibilities will include:
Develop, create, and manage Airworthiness project products in a collaborative team environment. Track project milestones, communicate status, and coordinate with internal and external customers. Coordinate and track artifacts and data requirements to support development test, production, and retrofit efforts. Support general business needs that enable innovation and increase efficiencies within the Engineering & Technology organization. - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance. This position is in Fort Worth, TX Discover Fort Worth.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Software Engineering.
Desired Skills:
  • Aircraft airworthiness certification experience.
  • Experience with
MIL-HDBK-516
criteria.
  • Experience multi-tasking in a dynamic work environment.
  • Strong MS Excel & PowerPoint skills.
  • Experience working with cross functional teams and frequent status reporting to management.
  • Strong organization and coordination skills with high attention to detail.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Airworthiness experience (FAA or Military)
  • Aircraft systems experience.

The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
