Solution Engineer

We're looking for an exceptional Solution Engineer to join our Aerospace & Defense (A&D) and Government SI team. In this role, you'll serve as the trusted technical advisor and "quarterback" of the sales cycle
- uncovering mission requirements, architecting compelling solutions, and eliminating technical barriers to adoption across some of the most complex and high-stakes accounts in the federal ecosystem. - to technical evaluators, CISOs, and program offices Lead and contribute to
RFI/RFP/RFQ
responses, Oral Presentations, and technical volumes for government acquisition vehicles Partner with Account Executives, Capture Managers, and Customer Success teams in a team-selling environment to support pursuit strategy and pipeline development Maintain awareness of the defense acquisition lifecycle (FAR/DFARS, OTA, IDIQ/GWAC vehicles such asSEWP, GSA MAS, CIO-SP3
) to position solutions effectively Participate in product, sales, and technical training to maintain platform expertise and relevant certifications (Salesforce certifications, security clearance maintenance, etc.) Attain quarterly and annual objectives defined collaboratively with management Minimum Qualifications B.S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS, or equivalent work experience 7+ years of experience as a Solution/Sales Engineer for a CRM, enterprise SaaS, or mission IT company- ideally with A&D or Federal Government customers Demonstrated experience supporting Government SI partners or defense or intelligence community accounts or Familiarity with federal compliance frameworks: NIST 800-53, FedRAMP, CMMC, DoD STIGs, and cloud security architecture Knowledge of cloud platforms (SaaS/PaaS), relational databases, API/integration architecture, and cybersecurity principles Experience with government acquisition processes•including RFI/RFP responses, oral presentations, and demo scenarios for technical evaluation boards Strong oral, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills•including the ability to engage both C-suite executives and hands-on technical evaluators Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, team-selling environment and manage multiple pursuits simultaneously Must be a U.
