Other Location Description Dobson Fiber is searching for a Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) Program Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of fiber-optic broadband projects from concept to completion. This role ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards, while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships and compliance with safety and installation regulations.RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO
Project Planning & Execution Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, milestones, deliverables, and resource allocation. Define project goals in collaboration with the Director of PMO or senior management. Utilize PMI-based frameworks and best practices for scope definition, schedule management, and risk mitigation. Coordinate with engineering, construction, and operations teams to align technical and operational requirements. Team Leadership & Operations Manage and supervise project teams, including installation and project supervisors. Delegate tasks effectively and ensure daily operations run efficiently. Facilitate meetings, maintain clear communication, and resolve cross-functional issues. Monitor production, performance, and productivity to meet targets. Budget & Resource Management Control operational costs and manage budgets to avoid overruns. Allocate and optimize resources (personnel, materials, equipment) for maximum efficiency. Forecast and monitor resource needs, including inventory, vehicles, and machinery. Quality & Compliance Implement quality control measures to ensure installations meet technical and regulatory standards. Conduct audits, reviews, and post-implementation evaluations to document lessons learned. Ensure compliance with company safety and installation quality policies. Stakeholder Communication Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, executives, and stakeholders. Provide regular status updates, risk reports, and progress summaries. Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders to meet expectations. Risk Management Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies. Address obstacles promptly and make timely, effective decisions.Qualifications:
Experience:
5+ years in management/leadership; 2+ years in utilities construction or telecommunications home services; strong FTTH/fiber/broadband project experience preferred.Skills:
Project management software, budget control, contract management, risk mitigation, cross-functional collaboration, communication (written/verbal), attention to detail.Certifications:
