Job Description

POWER THE FUTURE OF CLEAN ENERGY
Are you an experienced Commissioning Superintendent with a background in utility-scale solar, BESS, substations, or high-voltage electrical systems? Lead and supervise General Foremen, Field Engineers, and Foremen to ensure safe, productive, and high-quality commissioning execution Provide technical expertise across HV/MV electrical systems, including collection systems, substations, switchgear, interconnects, and power quality Oversee commissioning, testing, energization, and startup activities for utility-scale solar projects Develop and support commissioning plans, LOTO procedures, and energization protocols Coordinate with utilities, owners, engineers, and subcontractors during testing and energization phases Manage LOTO programs, safety boundaries (red rope), and electrical safety compliance (arc flash, etc.) Schedule and manage labor, materials, tools, equipment, and subcontractors for efficient resource utilization Act as a key point of contact for owner correspondence and technical discussions Monitor project costs vs. estimate, identify overruns, and support corrective actions Ensure adherence to quality plans, including audits, testing documentation, and closeout deliverables Mentor and develop field leadership on commissioning processes, safety, and quality standards Support RFI development, technical reviews, and performance testing Strong experience in utility-scale solar commissioning and high-voltage electrical systems Proven ability to lead multiple crews and complex commissioning activities Deep understanding of testing, energization procedures, and system startup Experience with LOTO, arc flash, and electrical safety protocols Ability to read and interpret prints, test reports, specs, and contract documents Knowledge of job costing, production tracking, and resource planning Strong communication skills with experience interfacing with owners, utilities, and engineers Willingness to relocate and travel nationwide across project sites Valid driver's license and acceptable MVR Electrical licensing (Journeyman/Master) or ability to obtain preferred πŸš€ Be first in line for future openings 🀝 Stay connected with our Talent Acquisition team 🌎 Help shape the future of renewable energy πŸ› οΈ Gain early access to roles with competitive pay and benefits Competitive salary: $120,000 - $160,000 (based one experience) 401(k) with employer match Health, dental, vision insurance Paid time off + 10 holidays Stock purchase plan Straight time pay Home rotation schedule Company vehicle
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Must comply with client safety requirements (e.g., clean-shaven, long sleeves, steel-toe boots). Must pass a physical exam if required.
Able to:
Climb and maintain balance on ladders, scaffolding, and stairways. Stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and work at heights or in confined spaces (e.g., towers, vessels, excavations). Lift and carry up to 50 lbs. (Use assistance for heavier loads). Stand or walk for extended periods on uneven surfaces (dirt, concrete, asphalt, mud, gravel). Must be able to wear a respirator and other PPE when required. Climb and maintain balance on ladders, scaffolding, and stairways.
