Job Title:
Engineering Technician II Job Description The Engineering Technician II will support Operations and Global Manufacturing by executing hands-on laboratory testing and experiments in a shared lab environment. This role focuses on following defined test methods, collecting and organizing experimental data, and communicating results to the Process Engineering team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, able to follow instructions precisely, and comfortable working onsite in a laboratory setting. Responsibilities Maintain a clean and organized shared laboratory workspace in accordance with established test methods and work instructions. Operate designated lab equipment after appropriate training. Collect, organize, and summarize experimental data. Prepare datasets and review findings with the Process Engineering team. Communicate test results, methods, and observations clearly to stakeholders. Use standard computer systems to save, process, and share data. Essential Skills 2+ years of relevant industry experience. Bachelor's degree required. Experience in the medical device, pharmaceutical, or quality-regulated environment. Ability to read documentation and follow detailed instructions. Proven hands-on laboratory or technical work experience. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with testing, data collection, and medical devices. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of San Diego, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $29.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
