•Job Description Summary•Our Cleveland site, home to MIM Software within GE HealthCare's Advanced Imaging Solutions segment, develops AI-enabled imaging analytics and workflow platforms that help clinicians turn complex medical images into meaningful insights, so they can diagnose conditions, plan treatments, and deliver more personalized patient care.

As a Clinical Engineer (CE), you will collaborate with our internal teams to design solutions to complex clinical problems. What You'll Do:
+ Work collaboratively with internal teams to support the design of suitable solutions to complex clinical problems + Learn and contribute to a product's lifecycle to ensure products are designed to meet clinical needs and utilized effectively + Develop clinical and technical knowledge to gain subject matter expertise both internally and externally + Investigate clinical needs and requirements and communicate findings to other teams + Begin establishing relationships with leading physicians and medical professionals to gain insights into clinical needs, gather feedback, and validate new features + Support software validation to help ensure regulatory compliance + Contribute to research publications that demonstrate the capabilities of MIM's software tools. + Contribute to and support regulatory submissions + Assist with internal and external training on new software features + Assist in the creation of both user-facing and internal technical documentation
What You'll Need:
+ 1+ year of previous experience preferably with a scientific, clinical, or medical device industry background + Bachelor's degree or higher from a 4-year accredited university preferably with an engineering, science, or healthcare background + Software or medical device industry experience is preferred but not required Problem-solving and analytical abilities + Willing to communicate with clinical professionals and a variety of internal multidisciplinary teams + Aptitude to develop a clinical and anatomical knowledge base + Willing to travel periodically to attend medical conferences + Prior programming experience is preferred but not required We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening. •Additional Information•GE HealthCare offers a great work environment, professional development, challenging careers, and competitive compensation.
