Job Description

The Beckman Research Institute of City of Hope invites applications for a talented Postdoctoral Fellow to join Dr. Kun Qing's lab. As a Postdoctoral Fellow, you'll have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects that contribute to the advancement of medical science and have a direct impact on patient outcomes. Learn more about Dr. Qing's lab here. As a successful candidate, you will: Develop new medical image reconstruction/post-processing techniques using conventional and deep-learning based approaches. Troubleshoot procedures if experiment results are unexpected or unsatisfactory. Recommend alternative procedures. Independently evaluate research data and initiate alternative approaches to improve the quality of results by providing input to overall research design. Contribute to the preparation of manuscripts by describing methods and specialized techniques, presenting collected results.
Your qualifications should include:
PhD degree is preferably in computer science, biomedical engineering, or medical physics. Minimal two years related research experience in the medical imaging or related computer science field with knowledge about processing of medical images. AI experience especially deep learning-based approaches to improve image reconstruction and image segmentation.
