Job Description

Are you passionate about precision, design, and problem-solving? At Magnolia River , we're looking for a Design Technician to help bring natural gas pipeline projects to life. Your work will directly impact the safety and efficiency of energy distribution, making a real difference in communities across the country. Compensation:
$20.00 to $22.00 per hour depending on your skills and years of experience
What You'll Do:
Create & Innovate
  • Develop detailed maps, blueprints, and as-built documentation using AutoCAD and AutoCAD Civil 3D to support pipeline design. Support Engineering Excellence
  • Assist with permitting, material quantity analysis, and red-line changes to ensure smooth project execution. Ensure Quality
  • Edit, review, and manage digital mapping data, maintaining accuracy and adhering to CAD standards. Collaborate & Communicate
  • Work alongside project teams and leadership to ensure deliverables meet expectations. Stay Ahead of the Curve
  • Take initiative, contribute innovative ideas, and continuously develop your skills to advance your career. Meet Deadlines & Goals
  • Manage multiple projects efficiently while maintaining billable targets.
What You Bring:
Technical Expertise
  • A strong understanding of engineering design principles, material properties, and construction methods . Software Skills
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microsoft Office, and Adobe (GIS and ESRI ArcMAP experience is a plus). Attention to Detail
  • Ability to ensure accuracy in designs, maintain company CAD standards, and manage project data efficiently. Time Management
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects while meeting deadlines. Flexibility & Initiative
  • Willingness to travel, work overtime when needed, and adapt to evolving project needs.
Your Background:
Associate degree or equivalent education and experience. Experience with natural gas pipeline drafting and piping design is preferred. Prior internship experience at Magnolia River is a plus. Apply today and start shaping the future with us.
