In person Tallassee, AL Insync Consulting is seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative CAD Designer I to join our team. In this role, you will create, maintain, and update technical drawings, product documentation, and bills of materials to support manufacturing operations and customer requirements. The ideal candidate has strong drafting skills, experience with CAD software, and a commitment to accuracy and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Create, revise, and maintain product documentation, technical drawings, and bills of materials (BOMs). Collaborate with sales teams and customers to develop drawings from sketches, blueprints, existing drawings, photographs, and written or verbal specifications. Partner with manufacturing, engineering, and other plant departments to ensure drawings are accurate, complete, and aligned with production requirements. Update and modify drawings as needed to support continuous production and prevent delays. Utilize drafting tools and resources to develop new hardware and software solutions that improve efficiency and streamline processes. Produce drawings in accordance with customer, company, and vendor specifications while adhering to established corporate drafting standards. Assist with design changes, document control, and related engineering support activities. Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of design techniques, drafting standards, and the development of technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models. HVAC Industry Experience Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with customers. High attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate work.
Required Qualifications:
Associate degree in Drafting, Design Technology, Engineering Technology, or a related field required; equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Minimum of 1-3 years of drafting or CAD design experience. Proficiency with SolidWorks Knowledge of design techniques, drafting standards, and the development of technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.
