Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented CAD Drafter for a direct hire opportunity in Buena Park, CA. This role is ideal for a drafting professional with strong AutoCAD experience, a solid understanding of furniture construction, and the ability to review, revise, and manage detailed shop drawings in a fast-paced consumer packaged goods manufacturing environment. The CAD Drafter will play an important role in supporting accurate project execution by reviewing construction detail drawings, incorporating client feedback, maintaining organized documentation, and coordinating timelines across departments. This opportunity offers a collaborative work environment with supportive leadership, strong teamwork, and the chance to contribute to high-quality project outcomes for client-facing deliverables. Candidates who enjoy technical drafting, problem-solving, organization, and cross-functional communication will be well positioned for success in this role. Key Responsibilities
  • Review shop drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with written specifications.
  • Modify, redline, and revise AutoCAD drawings based on client comments, markups, and project requirements.
  • Interpret construction detail drawings related to furniture and cabinetry construction.
  • Maintain organized project files, drawing documentation, and revision records.
  • Coordinate project timelines and communicate deadlines to internal departments.
  • Support project completion by helping ensure deliverables meet client expectations and required deadlines. Compensation and Benefits

  • Pay range: $28.00 to $32.00 per hour.
