Your work ensures accurate, compliant technical data packages that support downstream manufacturing and review. This is an onsite role in Irvine, CA. Here's How You'll Make an Impact on the Team Create new 2D and 3D CAD drawings and revise existing mechanical, electrical, and electronic component documents Apply standard drafting procedures and techniques to produce technical data packages Use CAD tools and office software to prepare supporting documentation Collaborate with engineers and cross-functional team members to clarify design intent and resolve issues Prioritize workload to meet deadlines and maintain high accuracy on repetitive tasks Here's What You'll Need to Be Successful in This Role High school diploma or GED 1 to 2 years of related drafting experience or training Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English Proficiency with CAD concepts; prior SolidWorks experience preferred Ability to perform basic math and apply dimensioning/tolerancing standards Ability to work independently and as part of a team; strong attention to detail Must meet U.S. export compliance and U.S. Government contracting citizenship eligibility (must be a US Citizen) Here's What Else Might Help You Out Post-high-school coursework in mechanical, electrical, or electronic drafting Knowledge of ASME Y14.5 and
