is seeking a detail-oriented CAD Draftsman to support our construction and design team. This role is responsible for producing accurate, construction-ready drawings for commercial, industrial, and high-security fencing projects, including government and military installations. The ideal candidate will have strong technical drafting skills, construction knowledge, and the ability to translate field conditions and project requirements into precise design documents. Key Responsibilities Create detailed CAD drawings for fencing layouts, gates, and security systems Develop shop drawings and submittals for client and project approval Interpret project plans, specifications, and site conditions Collaborate with project managers, estimators, and field teams to ensure accuracy Revise drawings based on RFIs, change orders, and field updates Maintain organized drawing files and version control Assist with material takeoffs and project planning Ensure all drawings meet company standards and applicable codes Qualifications 1-3+ years of CAD drafting experience (construction industry preferred) Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar drafting software Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Basic knowledge of construction methods, materials, and layout principles Comfortable working in a fast-paced, project-driven environment Preferred Qualifications Experience with fencing, structural steel, or site work drafting Familiarity with public works or government projects Experience with takeoffs or estimating support Knowledge of permitting and submittal processes Work Environment Heavily office based role Collaboration with field crews, project managers, and operations teams Fast-paced environment supporting multiple active construction projects Schedule 6:30am
