We work with municipalities across the Denver Metro Area and Front Range and pride ourselves on quality, compliance, and strong client relationships. Position Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Permit Technician to manage the permitting process for custom sign projects from submittal through approval. This role is critical to keeping projects moving on schedule and compliant with local zoning, building, and electrical codes. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable working with city and county jurisdictions, project managers, designers, and customers. Key Responsibilities  Prepare, submit, and track sign permit applications with cities, counties, and special districts  Interpret local sign codes, zoning ordinances, and municipal requirements  Coordinate revisions and resubmittals based on plan review comments  Communicate with city reviewers, planners, zoning officials, and inspectors  Maintain accurate permit records, logs, and project documentation  Work closely with project managers, designers, and sales to ensure permit-ready drawings and documentation  Track permit timelines and proactively identify potential delays  Assist with inspections, final approvals, and certificate of completion documentation  Stay current on changes to local sign codes and permitting requirements Qualifications  2+ years of experience in permitting, planning, zoning, or construction administration (sign industry experience strongly preferred)  Working knowledge of Denver and surrounding Front Range sign codes and permitting processes  Strong organizational and time-management skills  Excellent written and verbal communication skills  Proficient with Microsoft Office; experience with permit portals and project management software a plus  Ability to read architectural drawings and sign plans  High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Preferred Experience (Nice to Have)  Previous experience with a sign company, architectural firm, or general contractor  Familiarity with electrical permits and inspections  Experience working directly with the City and County of Denver, Aurora, Lakewood, Westminster, and other metro jurisdictions Why Join Us?  Stable, growing company with long-term career opportunities  Work on a wide variety of creative and high-profile sign projects  Collaborative team environment with experienced professionals  A role that directly impacts project success and company performance How to Apply Submit your resume to .
