U.S. Citizen Required Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented mCAD Design Engineer / CAD Revision Engineer to support engineering change activities within a fast-paced aerospace environment. This role is responsible for executing high-volume CAD model and drawing revisions based on approved engineering redline markups while ensuring compliance with customer standards, configuration control requirements, and product lifecycle management (PLM) processes. The ideal candidate has strong CAD modeling and drafting experience, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to accurately implement engineering changes while maintaining data integrity and revision traceability. Key Responsibilities Incorporate engineering redline markups into CAD models, assemblies, and engineering drawings. Execute engineering change requests (ECRs), engineering change orders (ECOs), and revision updates in accordance with established procedures. Ensure compliance with aerospace drafting standards, modeling practices, and customer requirements. Perform detailed self-checks and quality reviews to achieve high first-pass acceptance rates. Upload, validate, manage, and release engineering data within PLM systems. Maintain revision history, documentation, and traceability for all design changes. Support multiple change priorities, including routine, expedited, and critical updates. Collaborate with engineering, configuration management, and product data management teams to ensure timely completion of revision activities. Identify and resolve drawing, model, or data inconsistencies prior to release. Adhere to configuration control and document management requirements throughout the product lifecycle. Required Qualifications U.S. Citizenship required. 1-4 years of experience supporting CAD design, drafting, engineering documentation, or revision control activities. Creo SolidWorks Experience working within PLM environments such as: Teamcenter Enovia 3DEXPERIENCE Windchill SmarTeam Strong understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T, drafting standards, and model-based design practices. Experience with configuration management, revision control, and engineering change processes. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy. Strong organizational and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Aerospace, defense, aviation, or other highly regulated industry experience. Experience supporting large-scale drawing conversion, revision, or data migration projects. Familiarity with ASME Y14.5 and aerospace drafting standards. Experience working in a production-driven engineering support environment with defined turnaround metrics. Education Associate degree, technical diploma, certificate, military technical training, or equivalent hands-on CAD/design experience preferred. Engineering degree is not required . Relevant CAD, drafting, design, or aerospace experience may be substituted for formal education. What Success Looks Like High-quality CAD revisions completed accurately and on schedule. Strong first-pass quality performance with minimal rework. Consistent compliance with drafting, PLM, and configuration control requirements. Effective management of multiple engineering change requests while maintaining data integrity and traceability.
