Position Overview:
The CAD/CAM Designer is responsible for designing high-quality dental restorations using advanced digital dentistry workflows and CAD/CAM technologies. This role requires a strong understanding of dental anatomy, occlusion, restorative principles, and digital design processes to produce precise, functional, and esthetic restorations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, technically skilled, and passionate about delivering exceptional outcomes through digital dentistry. Key Responsibilities Design crowns, bridges, veneers, dentures, and implant-supported restorations using CAD/CAM software. Review digital scans, prescriptions, and case requirements to create accurate and functional restorations. Ensure all designs meet laboratory quality standards, esthetic expectations, and clinical requirements. Modify designs based on dentist feedback and case-specific needs. Collaborate with technicians and production teams to ensure smooth case workflow and timely delivery. Maintain accurate digital case files and documentation. Troubleshoot design-related issues and recommend workflow improvements. Stay current with advancements in CAD/CAM technology and digital dentistry. What We're Looking For Proven experience in dental fabrication, laboratory work or related fields with a strong understanding of dental anatomy and terminology. Familiarity with CAD/CAM systems used in dentistry for designing restorations. Knowledge of medical imaging techniques and ability to interpret digital impressions accurately. Proficiency in Exocad and/or 3Shape Dental System. Experience designing crowns, bridges, dentures, and other dental restorations. Strong understanding of dental anatomy, occlusion, and restorative principles. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple cases and meet production deadlines.
