Job Description
Civil drafting and design role focused on AutoCAD Civil 3D support for solid waste, environmental, horizontal, and vertical construction projects. Job Requirements 5+ years of civil drafting or civil design experience AutoCAD Civil 3D experience Experience with grading Experience with drainage Experience with surfaces Experience with cut/fill analysis Experience creating plan and profile drawings Experience creating cross-sections Experience preparing permit documents Experience preparing construction documents Ability to translate engineering direction into accurate, buildable designs Ability to complete drafting and design tasks with minimal supervision Preferred Skills Solid waste project experience Environmental project experience Experience with horizontal construction projects Experience with vertical construction projects Experience incorporating engineering markups into design documents Experience preparing project figures Experience executing grading and cut/fill balancing Job Responsibilities Use AutoCAD Civil 3D to support civil drafting and design work Draft plans for solid waste and environmental projects Support drafting for horizontal and vertical construction projects Generate plan and profile views Generate cross-sections Execute grading design and cut/fill balancing Incorporate engineering markups into drawings and documents Prepare project figures Develop permit documentation Develop construction documentation Coordinate drafting and design work with engineers Complete assigned tasks and projects independently
