Job Description

Asbuilt CAD Technician Orlando, FL 32751 Full-time Full-time Overview Join our dynamic team as an Asbuilt CAD Techician team, where you will play a vital role in translating field measurements and construction data into precise, detailed CAD drawings. Your expertise will ensure that project documentation accurately reflects the as-built conditions, supporting seamless project completion and maintenance.
Desired Skills and Experience:
Previous construction or survey experience Proficiency in Trimble Business Center or AutoCAD Experience in county or city as-builts is a plus Ability to read and interpret construction plans for preparing as-built drawings. Dependable, thorough and a strong work ethic Must have ability to complete projects independently with minimal supervision Solid computation skills is a plus Associate Degree in Land Surveying, CAD Drafting, Civil Engineer is plus Knowledge of surveying equipment is a plus
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepare As-built, tree, and Topographic drawings Read and understand plans and specifications Self-motivated and organized with good decision making skills Flexible and adaptable to change Responsible for communicating with survey crews Perform other duties as assigned
Duties:
Generate accurate as-built CAD drawings from field measurements, sketches, and redline markups using software such as AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, or ArchiCAD. Collaborate closely with project managers and field teams to interpret construction data and resolve discrepancies. Update existing CAD models and schematics to reflect changes made during construction or renovation phases. Utilize tools like Bluebeam for markup management and document control to streamline revisions and approvals. Maintain organized digital files and records of all as-built drawings for easy access and future reference. What is a
MUST:
Proven experience with CAD software including AutoCAD, etc. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on precision in technical documentation. A strong team player who collaborates effectively with others. A positive, professional attitude and a willingness to contribute to a supportive work environment. An eagerness to learn, grow, and take on new challenges. The ability to communicate and work well with individuals at all levels of the organization, including field staff, office personnel, supervisors, and leadership. A proactive approach, strong work ethic, and commitment to achieving team goals.
