In this role, you will translate customer conceptual drawings into a precise model and detailed shop drawings for manufacturing. Your expertise in CAD software (SolidWorks preferred) is essential. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to diverse projects across architecture, engineering, and product development while honing your technical skills in a collaborative environment. Duties Develop detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings using industry-standard software. SolidWorks preffered. Collaborate with customers and project manager to interpret design concepts and translate them into precise drawings. Work with Production Manager on best practice methods of fabrication. Review and revise drawings based on feedback to ensure accuracy and compliance with project specifications and industry standards. Maintain organized digital files of all drawings and revisions for easy access and version control. Skills Proficiency in CAD software, SolidWorks preferred. Strong understanding of drafting standards in industrial and structural fabrication. Experience with fabricaton documentation processes and system design principles. Ability to interpret technical specifications and translate them into accurate drawings. Strong communication skills. Extensive contact with customers is expected.
