Job Description

MetaWorld Civil Consulting is currently seeking a qualified CAD Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate is proficient across several CAD platforms. Proficiency in Civil 3D is required. The ideal candidate has experience in public infrastructure and civil site design. Candidates should be capable of creating alignments and profiles, running cross-sections, performing earthwork calculations, etc. using the automated applications within the CAD software. Candidates should be familiar with said applications and understand how to check and or modify standard inputs. It is imperitive that candidates show understanding of cutting edge capabilities of today's CAD software and the ability to implement their use in everyday design tasks. Familiarity with
FDOT CAD
standards and electronic delivery process is a plus. The preferred candidate exhibits knowledge of the design and construction process as well as the ability to perform design tasks with minimal instruction. They should understand what details will be required with certain designs, and should be capable of plans production. The ideal candidate is very detailed and requires little supervision.
