Job Description
With over 30 years of experience in the industry, Lambert Stoneworks is a premier tile, masonry, slab fabricator and installer in the Northwest. We also specialize in dimensional stone. We are looking for an experienced CAD/3D Designer to create detailed and precise construction plans for our client's amazing projects. Through our locations in both Seattle, WA and Sun Valley, ID, we create lasting relationships in both regions. We specialize in high end, custom projects so your day will never be boring! Role:
- Work with construction team to establish a timeline and design
- Use design software to produce 2D and/or 3D designs
- Research material properties to identify the best materials for modeling
- Work with project managers to manage progress and design to completion
Responsibilities:
- Able to prepare mechanical sketches and drawings by rendering sectional, auxiliary and multiview, subassemblies, pictorials, dimensions, and developments
- Able to produce 2 and 3 dimensional orthographic projections using computer aided design (CAD) and pictorial techniques
- Ability to produce 3D models including 3D and spherical coordinates
Qualifications:
- Advanced knowledge of Auto
CAD, CAD, RHINO 3D
Software- Drafting and Drafting tool knowledge
- Have requirements analysis, design skills, conceptual skills, presentation skills, functional and technical skills
- Must be thorough and able to analyze information
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in design, architecture, construction engineering or similar field is preferred
