Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated CAD Technician Assistant to join our design and engineering team. In this role, you will work closely with senior CAD technician to support the creation, modification, and management of technical drawings and blueprints. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone looking to develop their skills in computer-aided design (CAD) and grow within a dynamic technical environment.
Key Responsibilities Drafting Support:
Assist in preparing clear, accurate, and detailed 2D drawings and 3D models using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Fusion, SolidWorks) based on rough sketches, verbal instructions, or calculations.
Revisions & Updates:
Modify existing technical drawings to reflect engineering changes, field redlines, or client feedback.
Data Management:
Organize, archive, and maintain drawing logs, project files, and digital blueprint libraries according to company standards.
Quality Control:
Check drafted work for accuracy, proper scaling, and adherence to company drafting standards and layer guidelines.
Collaboration:
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and site surveyors to gather necessary data for drafting updates.
