Mechanical Designer - Millstadt, IL Job Summary We are seeking a CAD Designer to create detailed part and assembly drawings using SolidWorks. This role supports engineering, manufacturing, and sales teams in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. Responsibilities Create 2D drawings and 3D models from sketches, specifications, and engineering input Apply engineering and manufacturing standards Assist engineers with modeling, documentation, and work instructions Support Sales with concept and approval drawings Prepare and maintain Bills of Material (BOMs) Communicate effectively with engineering and manufacturing teams Qualifications Associate's degree or equivalent experience 2+ years of drafting/design experience Proficient in SolidWorks Strong mechanical aptitude Comfortable working in a fast‑paced manufacturing setting
