$65,000-$85,000 per year Full Benefits Sterling Engineering is hiring a Mechanical Designer & Drafter for a growing, internationally recognized manufacturer of specialized industrial machinery. This is an exciting opportunity to work on custom machine designs from concept through production. You'll join a collaborative team in a clean, modern facility where your ideas for design improvements, cost savings, and technology upgrades will be encouraged and valued. Key Responsibilities:
Create sets of drawings of mechanical components using 3-D modeling per machine order Create mechanical bills of materials per machine order. Implement cost-saving initiatives and technology advancements to machine designs. Create technical documentation and user manuals. Assist sales department and production team with technical information and troubleshooting.
Qualifications:
3-5+ years of experience in mechanical drafting, design, or engineering-related roles Strong proficiency with 3D CAD design software (Inventor would be ideal) Experience creating manufacturing drawings, BOMs, and engineering documentation Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or veteran status.
