Full Job Description Summary:
Provide CAD support for the design and development of new products and product improvements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Innovative design of components / mechanical assemblies to meet the product's technical requirement and the program cost, timingquality objectives Generate 3D models2D prints for components/assemblies with the applicable CAD software, as well as ensure their storage in the thyssenkrupp database. Is co-responsible for the compliance to the Customer Engineering Specification (DVP&R planning, realizationanalysis) Support the creation of supporting documentation required for data set releases. Product Life Management (PLM) database management, structure, and article status responsibilities according to the Product Life Cycle (PLC) guidelines and the project leader's input. Maintain the Bill Of Materials Support our testing lab expansion with the concept/design of new equipment, toolsfixtures. Highly organized and adaptable professional with the ability to manage multiple assignments, set priorities, and meet deadlines in dynamic environments. Effective communicator and proactive problem solver skilled at engaging with all levels of an organization and driving solutions independently.

Experience:
A BS Degree in Computer Graphics Technology or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent work experience. Preferred qualifications include at least three years of experience in CAD design, particularly within the automotive industry, along with familiarity with industry IATF standards. Prior experience with automotive steering systems and tool/fixture design is also highly desirable.
Computer and Technology Skills:
Experience using Microsoft Office Suites within a Windows operating system, as well as proficiency in Catia V5 and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools, such as Oracle PLM or Teamcenter SLM. Preferred qualifications include familiarity with SAP, SolidWorks, and NX, along with OEM data transfer in Siemens Teamcenter and Finite Element Analysis tools.
