Mishawaka, IN Job Details Part-time | Full-time From $18 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Health insurance 401(k) Paid time off 401(k) matching Qualifications CNC programming Fabrication Milling Blueprint reading Drafting CAM programming Full Job Description Overview Candidates main responsibilities will include: gathering drawings and specifications, reading and interpreting architectural drawings and creating a working set of fabrication drawings for the shop floor to build/fabricate casework, and use Cabinet Vision software to generate programs used in milling all parts. Responsibilities Liaise with team to gather fabrication requirements, materials, and design concepts Create detailed designs with computer-aided design (CAD) software Coordinate with Shop and office personnel to identify and order materials Secure best pricing for materials Obtain pricing for specialty materials Coordinate with General Contractors and Architects to follow project from initial estimate to completion Skills Proven work experience as a Drafter or similar role Hands-on experience with computer-aided design (CAD) software Able to read and understand Architectural drawings Ability to meet deadlines Willingness to learn new programs and processes as needed. Self-Motivated, and able to work with little supervision. Ability to work with a broad range of personnel to get each project completed.
