Drafter/CAD/Solidworks

Under the supervision of the Engineering Manager, the CAD Operator performs a variety of design/drafting activities including the origination of and updates to existing engineered drawings for use in our manufacturing facility. Responsibilities Prepare dimensional drawings, installation drawings, piping diagrams and general arrangement drawings. Revise and update existing drawings reflecting design changes Review blueprints, plans, specifications, and other customer documentation if necessary Serve as an information source on planning and design of equipment and manufactured items Maintain notes, design calculations and other documentation in accordance with the document retention policies set by the Engineering Manager. Other duties as required relating to CAD database Requirements Associate's Degree in Mechanical Drafting/ CAD Design Proficient with SolidWorks software platform Proven organizational and time management skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products High attention to detail Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment Ability to work with minimal supervision This job description is intended to convey information essential to understanding the scope of the job and the general nature and level of work performed within this job.
