  • Full-time Mechanical Designer / CAD Designer Are you an early‑career mechanical engineer who loves turning ideas into real‑world products?
Do you enjoy detailed CAD work, collaborating across teams, and seeing your designs move from concept to production? If so, we'd love to meet you. We're looking for a Mechanical Designer / CAD Designer to join our engineering team and play a hands‑on role in designing and supporting custom mechanical and air‑handling equipment. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent college graduate or someone with 1-3 years of relevant experience who is eager to build a strong foundation in applied mechanical design. What You'll Do As part of our engineering team, you'll be responsible for creating and maintaining the CAD drawings and documentation that drive our daily operations—from sales handoff through production.
Key responsibilities include:
Design mechanical and electromechanical products and systems based on customer specifications, estimates, and project requirements Create and revise 2D CAD drawings for production and customer approval; develop templates and detailed shop drawings Generate accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs) for equipment and assemblies, including entry into our ERP system Research and analyze job data to ensure design feasibility, accuracy, and compliance with specifications Issue approval and certified drawings to customers and sales representatives Coordinate with purchasing to issue requisitions for outside‑purchased components Collaborate closely with engineering management, sales, purchasing, and production to keep projects moving smoothly Support troubleshooting efforts by helping address design questions, changes, or field issues as they arise Take on additional engineering tasks and learning opportunities as your skills grow What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or 2+ years of relevant mechanical/CAD design experience Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D Experience with 3D CAD software (Inventor preferred but not required) Strong attention to detail and an interest in manufacturing‑ready design Ability to manage multiple tasks and communicate effectively with cross‑functional teams A positive, curious mindset and willingness to learn Why Join Us Entry‑level-friendly role with real responsibility and mentorship Direct exposure to the full lifecycle of engineered products Collaborative, team‑oriented environment Opportunity to grow into more advanced engineering and design responsibilities If you're ready to launch or grow your mechanical engineering career in a hands‑on, practical design role, we encourage you to apply today .
