Job DescriptionJob Description SSC Engineering, a nationally recognized, locally-owned consulting engineering firm has a great opportunity in our Chesterfield, MO office for a full-time Structural Drafter and or Designer in the design and construction of a variety of structures ranging from medical, commercial, retail and institutional buildings.

Minimum Qualifications Include:

• Associate's Degree in Computer Aided Drafting, Revit experience a plus.
• Very detail-oriented, self-motivated, enthusiastic and flexible.
• Proven drafting capability in retail, commercial, senior, healthcare and related markets.
• Knowledge of building systems. Consideration given for those with structural experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience in the use of AutoCAD and Revit modeling tools
• Ability to meet fast-paced deadlines while maintaining quality design
• Professional approach to work as well as outgoing personality
• Excellent communications skills, self-started and desire to grow within the business Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Responsible for the preparation of detailed prints from engineer's design
• Assist in the production of construction documents (drawings and specifications) for new buildings, and for renovations and additions to existing facilities
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results in a timely fashion
• Create, read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer generated reports
• Provide coordination of project designs with other disciplines.
• Inform production manager of any observed inaccuracies in projects, project scopes, project schedules
• Client interface
