Job Description
Job Overview ASW Stone is seeking a skilled CAD Designer/Draftsman to join our team. This position is responsible for creating detailed shop drawings, production drawings, and project layouts for custom stone fabrication and installation projects. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and able to work closely with project managers, fabrication teams, and customers to ensure accurate drawings and smooth project execution. Responsibilities Responsibilities Create and revise CAD drawings for stone fabrication projects Produce shop drawings, layouts, and installation details Read architectural and construction plans Coordinate dimensions, field measurements, and specifications Communicate with project managers, fabricators, and installers Manage drawing revisions and approvals Ensure drawings meet production and installation requirements Maintain organized project files and documentation Qualifications Experience with AutoCAD required 2+ years of CAD drafting/design experience preferred Experience in stone, millwork, cabinetry, construction, or fabrication is a plus Ability to read blueprints and architectural drawings Strong attention to detail and organization Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines Good communication and problem-solving skills
