What you'll do: Develops a variety of complex drawings and bills-of-material based upon established product designs, which provides sufficient detail to accurately convey the purchaser's equipment application and integrate into the manufacturing process. Check layouts, drawings, and bills of material for completeness and accuracy.

Perform necessary calculations such as:

sizes, tolerances, fit, and weights as required to prove adequacy of design for sheet metal, copper, and various other material components. Provide accurate drawings and/or electronic data to manufacturing personnel or outside sources. Exercise a working knowledge of shop fabrication, manufacturing, machining, and assembly, and demonstrate full understanding of data input/output requirements of vendors and suppliers. Design of sheet metal, copper, and various other material components for manufacturability utilizing 3D modeling. Also update labeling and wire harnesses as needed. Assist in the direction of support personnel for the assembly and testing of ETO units. Other duties as assigned.

Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or an associate's degree in engineering and four years of experience in mechanical design and drafting. Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with 3D Modeling/design for sheet metal, copper, etc and assemblies. Experience with AutoCAD/Inventor. Experience or understanding of electrical wiring or schematic design.
