In this role, you will transform and interpret ideas into precise technical drawings and detailed plans that drive successful project execution. Your expertise in drafting software and understanding of construction and mechanical design principles will be essential in producing accurate, comprehensive schematics and models. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative projects across various engineering disciplines, ensuring quality and precision at every stage. Responsibilities Develop detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings using industry-standard software (AutoCAD and Fusion360 preferred). Collaborate closely with project managers to interpret design concepts and break them into drawing sets and parts files for different machinery. Create precise mechanical designs and schematic diagrams that meet project specifications and standards. Incorporate feedback from team members to refine drawings and ensure accuracy for fabrication or construction purposes. Maintain organized CAD files and documentation for easy access and version control throughout project lifecycles. Requirements Proven experience with CAD drafting software (AutoCAD and Fusion360 preferred). Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles and drafting standards. Familiarity with schematics development and technical documentation Ability to produce detailed drawings and models accurately within tight deadlines. Steel or construction experience preferred Excellent attention to detail combined with strong communication skills to collaborate effectively across teams.
