CAD Operator / Designer

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented AutoCAD Operator to join our team, specializing in the drafting and design of residential homes. The ideal candidate is proficient in AutoCAD, has a strong understanding of residential construction documents, and can produce accurate, clean drawings that meet project specifications and local code requirements. Responsibilities Produce detailed architectural drawings, floor plans, elevations, and construction documents for residential projects Interpret and draft from sketches, redlines, and verbal direction provided by project leads Coordinate with internal team members to ensure drawing accuracy and consistency Revise drawings in response to client feedback, design changes, or permitting requirements Maintain organized and up-to-date drawing files and project documentation Requirements Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D drafting required; 3D a plus) Experience drafting residential construction documents Solid understanding of residential construction methods and building codes Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Preferred Qualifications Experience with BIM software such as Softplan, Revit, ArchiCAD, or similar platforms Familiarity with residential permitting processes Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Drafting, Architecture, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)

$22.00 - $26.00 per hour
