Full Job Description Position:
FIRE ALARM
Designer Auto
CAD DRAFTER
The CAD Fire Alarm Designer is responsible for working with Sales & Project Management, to provide engineering and drafting of life safety and fire alarm commensurate to the needs of the company.
Essential Functions:
Have proficient knowledge in current codes such as NFPA, UBC, UFC and the principles and practices of fire protection engineering. Work with the Sales and Technical staff to interpret project specifications and drawings, determining system layout. Have proficient knowledge in the use of AutoCAD for the purpose of engineering and application of fire alarm, ARC, CCTV and security systems. Preference to being proficient in the Mircom Product Line. Perform to a professional standard for accurate, neat, error free work, as determined by the department manager. Complete engineering requests in accordance with sound business practices and general corporate policies. Review individual drawings to ensure completeness and accuracy of work performed. Prepare BOM Understand and utilize company-drafting procedures. Actively participate in personal and professional development and maintain knowledge of current and new technologies that the company offers. Promote a team environment. Performs other related duties as required and/or assigned by the Management.
Compensation:
Position is Full time (Salary will be assessed on experience)Benefits, 401k, Holiday / sick, Vacation.
