Job Description:
Morales Professional Services is currently partnering with a manufacturing client to help them find a Contract Electrical CAD Designer for their operations in Henderson, NV. These projects are onsite in
Henderson, NV Scope of Work:
Review and understand P&ID's. Review functional specifications. Calculate loads and size components accordingly. Update drawings from redlines. Design electrical panels to UL and/or CE requirements. Create interconnect drawings using AutoCAD Electrical. Create accurate bills of materials for required components. Assemble shop drawing packages. Create drawing packages that will be used for constructing panels and equipment installations. Accurately document hours worked on all projects. Answer questions from shop personnel. Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations. Follow Lean manufacturing utilizing tools such as Kaizens, 5S, RIE's and other work area standards.
Qualifications:
High School or GED. Associates preferred. Working knowledge of electrical design using AutoDesk Inventor, SolidWorks or similar program. Experience in design and detail panels to UL standards.
