Job Description General Control Systems currently enjoys a great reputation in the integration industry and are looking to extend that success by adding capabilities to our Albany New York based team. As a result, we are looking for an experienced CAD Technician. The CAD Technician takes inputs from the Engineering teams at our offices across the country and creates custom control panel drawings using AutoCad Electrical as the primary tool. Being a CAD Technician at General Control Systems requires the achievement of either an Associates 's degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, a CAD Certification, or equivalent relevant work experience. A CAD Technician works as part of the Corporate CAD Team, supporting projects across all branches of GCS, which requires excellent written and verbal communication skills. Skills/Knowledge/Abilities Experience in AutoCad is required. Experience with electrical circuit design is preferred. Effective interpersonal relationship skills and abilities, as well as exceptional written and oral communication skills are a necessity.
