Job Description

Full Time CAD Technician (Onsite in Liverpool, NY) for a specialty interiors contractor in the Education, Healthcare and Laboratory Market Segment Do you want to join a winning culture? NEIS Collective is a specialty interiors contractor of cabinet, casework, fume hoods and equipment dealership selling interior product solutions in the K-12, College/University, Laboratory and Healthcare market segments. Our team is growing and we are looking for a CAD Technician who wants to see their work come to life. In this role, you will create precise, high-quality drawings that turn into real-world spaces across education, laboratory, and healthcare environments. You will collaborate with project managers, architects, and contractors to bring complex ideas into reality. What You Will Do Create accurate CAD drawings that support project execution from concept to completion Review architectural plans, specifications, and materials to prepare project submittals Partner with Project Managers to ensure drawings align with project scope and requirements Revise and update drawings based on feedback from PMs and architects Identify discrepancies between estimates, specifications, and drawings Collaborate with architects, contractors, and vendors to resolve design challenges Maintain organized drawing standards, documentation, and vendor resources Continuously look for ways to improve drafting processes and efficiency Ensure all drawings meet quality standards with minimal errors or omissions What You Bring Associate degree (or higher), relevant experience, or a combination of both Experience with CAD tools such as AutoCAD, Revit,, and Bluebeam Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Solid problem-solving and organizational skills Clear communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams Ability to manage multiple priorities and work both independently and collaboratively Willingness to learn, grow, and take on new challenges What We Offer Competitive compensation ($21.00 to $28.00 per hour) Comprehensive benefits package health, dental, vision, life insurance, and more 401(k) with company match Generous PTO and tuition reimbursement Robust health & wellness program A collaborative, team-oriented environment Opportunities for professional growth and development
