Job Description
Apparel Company with more than 20 years of experience in apparel design, product development, technical design, sourcing and manufaturing. We have successfully developed and launched collections across multiple categories, partnering with leading retailers and brands to deliver quality products and innovative solutions. The CAD Designer is responsible for creating, developing, and maintaining digital artwork for apparel collections, including prints, patterns, graphics, colorways, and technical presentation materials. This role partners closely with Design, Product Development, Technical Design, and Production teams to ensure artwork is production-ready and aligned with brand aesthetic and seasonal direction. Key Responsibilities Print & Pattern Development Create original print and pattern artwork for seasonal collections. Develop seamless repeats, engineered prints, borders, and placement prints. Recolor artwork based on seasonal color palettes and buyer requests. Prepare artwork for production according to vendor specifications. Review and revise strike-offs and artwork submissions. CAD & Technical Artwork Create accurate garment CADs and flat sketches. Develop colorways and line presentation artwork. Prepare artwork packages for overseas and domestic vendors. Ensure all artwork files are organized and production-ready. Maintain artwork libraries and seasonal archives. Design Support Assist Design team with trend research and concept development. Create presentation boards, line sheets, and seasonal design materials. Support development of graphics, trims, labels, and packaging artwork. Collaborate with Product Development and Technical Design throughout the sampling process. Production Support Communicate artwork revisions and approvals to vendors. Review production artwork for accuracy. Ensure print placement and scale are consistent with design intent. Resolve artwork-related production issues.
