Role Description As a CAD Designer at CrainCo, you will play a crucial role in creating detailed technical drawings and plans to guide production processes. Key responsibilities include developing CAD drawings, reviewing technical specifications, collaborating with engineers and team members on project designs, and ensuring compliance with design standards and quality expectations. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Durant, OK, requiring close coordination with the manufacturing team to ensure accuracy and efficiency in production. Qualifications Minimum 3+ years of experience as a Draftsman in a steel fabrication or manufacturing environment Strong proficiency with SolidWorks (3D modeling and detailing required) Hands-on experience with steel fabrication processes, materials, and shop practices Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings Familiarity with welding symbols, tolerances, and manufacturing standards Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment
