GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The Designer will collaborate with Engineers and operations to create detailed drawings, models, and assemblies of the structures and components for air cooled heat exchangers. A Designer will work both independently and with a group to meet the team's key objectives.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Create and/or check models, drawings, and bills of material for product components and assemblies
  • Interpret design/customer drawings
  • Provides status, updates, and any conflicts discovered during detailing
  • Work to ensure provided deadlines are met
  • Prepare and/or check complete project drawings and/or documents
  • Keep informed of new developments and requirements affecting the organization for recommending changes in standards, programs, or applications
  • Attend regular project meetings
  • Perform all other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
  • 3+ years of relevant experience preferred
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and 3D CAD software (Solidworks preferred)
  • Knowledge of
AICS, ASTM
material standards
  • Knowledge of API-661, OSHA, and PIP
  • Knowledge of ASME Pressure Vessel Code (Section VIII, Div. 1)
  • Successful candidates will demonstrate attention to detail
  • Possess effective oral and written communication skills
  • Strong desire to learn and be willing to ask questions
  • Must be able to work both independently and with a group
